Program Outline

Warm-up/Stretch: Overall body will be readied for exercise involvement and muscle activity by means of functional warm-ups and range of motion exercises.

Core Training: Stabilization of joints and muscular endurance will be achieved through proper posture, isometrics, body mechanics, and abdominal training. Increased strength of abdominal and lower back muscles will be made.

Plyometric Training: Focus will be on explosive power and muscular activity, increased speed, agility, and injury prevention.

Resistance Training: Muscular strength and endurance will be increased through compound and isolated muscle involvement.

Speed and Agility: Linear and functional speed training will increase movement quickness and accuracy. Learn the proper mechanics of speed while improving change of direction acuteness.

Balance and Flexibility: Increase muscular flexibility, joint range of motion, and joint stability while improving balance and kinesthetic awareness.
