A Real Concern
The realities of competitive and recreational sports have seen many changes. These changes include: participation at younger ages, specialization in a single sport and/or position, higher intensity of competition, and an alarming increase in sports related injuries. Over-use of specific muscles, imbalance of muscular and joint development, and lack of proper athletic training are all partially responsible for this increase.
The Answer
One of the best ways to address these concerns is to give the body a training regimen that includes all aspects of a “complete” athletic training program. The Komodo™ Athletic Core Training Program does just that. Exercises that address speed and agility, muscle strengthening, plyo-metrics (explosive power), balance, flexibility, and core strength are included in every class. The purpose of each exercise is explained and related to specific sports and activities.
It will allow each and every participant to reach his or her athletic potential, and optimizes the physical talents and abilities needed to participate in today’s athletics.
The Result
Participants get fast...really fast, and strong...really strong! Each participant will notice substantial increases in his/her speed, strength, endurance, agility, flexibility, and balance. Sport specific advantages include; explosive movements, lateral stability, body mechanic accuracy, joint stability, and injury prevention. This is the real deal, and it’s a ton of fun too! The Komodo program is one of the best ways for kids to get in the best shape of their lives. Whether for fitness or athletic goals, this program delivers. The atmosphere is non-competitive, fun, & intense.
Team/Sports Workout
To the coach: Their speed, power, and execution, along with their discipline, commitment, and leadership...it’s the reasons we coach. Whether it’s a team or an individual athlete, we give them our best. When they give us their best, it becomes all the more meaningful.
Bring your team to the next level with team programs and clinics . Program sessions are usually 4-10 weeks in length, meeting 1-2 times per week. However, the Komodo Athletic Core Training Program can be tailored to accommodate your teams schedule. Clinics are offered as a 1/4 day, 1/2 day, 1 day or 2 day workout. Using the latest core and body mechanics training, the Komodo Athletic Core Training Program will design workouts specifically for your team or club sport.
Adult Workouts
Remember what it felt like to run across a field on a sunny day just because you wanted to? Well you can recapture that youthful enthusiasm. Get ready to sweat, laugh, and have the most fun you ever did while getting into shape.

Coach Ken Canali has been a personal trainer and coach for the past 22 years. His approach to training, and experience in the field of body mechanics and athletic performance, is unsurpassed. With a style that is motivating and effective, he covers all sports utilizing a wide variety of training theories. A personalized exercise program and sport specific training regimen will be designed for all one on one participants.
